THIVIERGE, Bernard "Bud" William Statistics Canada, Retired It is with sadness that we announce the passing of our father Bernard "Bud" Thivierge on Thursday, September 13, 2007 at the age of 68. Beloved companion of Carmelle Lavigne who loved and cared for him for ten years. Loving father of Michael, Sheila (John O'Brien) and Brad (Joanne Poulsen). Cherished grandfather of Heather O'Brien. "Buddy" will be missed by his two sisters Nancy and Wendy (Helmut Berg). Bernard retired from Statistics Canada and previously served in the Royal Canadian Navy. He was a longtime member of the Montgomery Legion, Branch 351. His favourite hobbies included playing hockey, playing cards and let's not forget...dining at Friday's Roast Beef House! Bud was known for his great wit and sarcastic sense of humour. He has left us with plenty of memories to share and laugh about around the camp fire. Friends and family are invited to visit at the Central Chapel of Hulse Playfair & McGarry, 315 McLeod Street, on Sunday, September 16 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Monday at 11:30 a.m. with a reception to follow in the McGarry Family Reception Centre.
