DAUGHERTY, Glenn Hutton Nov. 26, 1937 - Sept. 13, 2007 At home, surrounded by those he loved and who loved him, after an illness marked by bravery, determination and optimism. Predeceased by his parents Ena Veronica (nee Couvrette) and Gordon Hutton Daugherty. Glenn lived all his life in Ottawa and loved to travel, embracing the culture and arts of every place he visited. He had a distinguished career in the Public Service of Canada and is fondly remembered by his colleagues. Dear brother of Dwight (Barbara). Glenn had a special and close relationship with his niece Laurel and nephew Lee. He shared nurturing and enduring memories with nieces Stephanie and Amanda upon whose lives he is forever imprinted. Cherished by Shailja, Sarita and Margaret. Adored by Ricky, Tara and Mulder. Forever beloved partner of Shail Verma . Remembered with love, honour and respect by many friends and relatives. Our heartfelt gratitude to Dr. Susan Gick, the Palliative Homecare nurses and caregiver Gerry. Friends are invited to visit at the Central Chapel of Hulse, Playfair & McGarry, 315 McLeod Street on Thursday, September 20 from 6-9 pm. Funeral and Remembrance Service will be held at Rideau Park United Church, 2203 Alta Vista Drive on Friday, September 21 at 3 pm. Glenn was a lover of music and an avid supporter of the arts.
