Stephen J. Istvan SZICK

SZICK, Stephen J. (Istvan) 1936 - 2007 Originally from Hungary, passed away after a brief illness on August 27th, 2007. Beloved husband of Pierrette (Vekeman). Predeceased by his father, Stephen and his mother Maria Stelczer. He leaves behind his son Jeffrey (Sharyn) and daughter Stephanie and two grand-daughters Jaclyn and Daniella, brother Gusztav (Teresa) and sister Imi of Hungary. Stephen retired in 2001 from Carleton University after 41 years of service. An avid sports enthusiast, he played and coached soccer and hockey. His flamboyant personality and great generosity will leave a great void in those who knew him. A memorial service will be held on Tuesday September 18 at 11 AM at the Racine Robert & Gauthier Funeral Chapel, 180 Montreal Road, Ottawa (613-241-3680).
