Halina WODZYNSKA

JAKIMOWICZ, Halina (nee Wodzynska). Died at peace after a long illness in her eighty-sixth year on September 13, 2007. She is survived by Richard, her beloved husband of sixty-two years. Loving mother of Irene (Henry Timko), Maria (Rev. Stephen Wojcichowsky), Hania (Graham Ward), and the late Rick (Andrea Jones). Cherished Babie of Julia (Andy Roustan), Joanne, Carolyn, Mark (Tonya Sheshurak), Hania (Annand Ollivierre), Andrew, Mathew, Rosey, Cameron and Kristina. Great-grandmother of Makeba and Evan. She will also be lovingly remembered by many dear friends. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Oncology Clinic at the JGH or to West Island Palliative Care Residence would be appreciated. Visitation will be held at Rideau Funeral Home, 4275 Blvd. des Sources, DDO, 514-685-3344, on Sunday, September 16, 2007 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. The funeral mass on Monday, September 17, 2007 at 10 a.m., will be held at Mary Queen of Peace Church in Roxboro on Gouin Blvd. The family wishes to thank all those who lovingly cared for Halina.
