GESNER, WINNIFRED AUDREY The passing of Winnifred Audrey Gesner , of Fredericton, NB wife of Neil Gesner, occurred on Thursday, September 6, 2007 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital. Born on May 1, 1923 in Burtt's Corner, NB, she was the daughter of the late Gordon and Gladys (Bull) MacLean. Winnifred enjoyed keeping her flowers and painting her crafts. She loved animals but most of all she enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. In addition to her husband Neil, Winnifred is survived by her son, Garvice of Fredericton, NB; sister, Inez Gesner of Woodstock, NB; grandchildren Grant (Janice) and Gordie (Cheyanne) Gesner both of Fredericton, NB; great grandchildren, Erik, Matthew, Nolan and Grace and several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her son, Girvan; brother, Eugene and daughter-in-law, Violet. Although there will be no public visitation, a private family service will take place from York Funeral Home's T. Gordon MacLeod Memorial Chapel, 302 Brookside Drive, Fredericton, NB on Saturday, September 8, 2007. Interment will take place in the Douglas Rural Cemetery.
