WHITE, MYRTLE IRENE - Passed away at the Charlotte County Hospital on September 7, 2007. Wife of the late Morton Albert White. Born in St. Stephen, a daughter of the late Chester and Josephine (Davis) Purdy. Myrtle will be sadly missed by five sons, Laurence (Lois) of St. Andrews, Allan (Hazel) of Saint John, Guy (Ann Marie) of St. Stephen, Ronald (Lee) of Saint John, Gordon (Janice) of Saint John; as well as 14 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; and one great grandson. She will also be sadly missed by four sisters, Margaret, Irma, Lillian, Geraldine; and several nieces and nephews. She was a homemaker most of her life. She was involved with Denis Morris Memorial Home and School. Denis Morris Seniors Lancaster Baptist Ladies Auxillary, Forty Years with Scouts Canada, Lancaster Baptist Missionary Society. She was an active Bowler and a member of the Conservative Party. Besides her husband, Morton, Myrtle was predeceased by four sisters and three brothers. Resting at Castle "Fallsview Chapel" Funeral Home, 309 Lancaster Ave. Saint John (634-1701) with visitation on Monday September 10, 2007 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. Funeral service will be held from the Fallsview Chapel at 11:00 am followed by a reception at the Lancaster Baptist Church Hall. Interment in Ocean View Memorial Gardens.
