Léon Ovila Robichaud 1953 - 2007 ST. LOUIS DE KENT, NB - Léon Ovila Robichaud, age 54, husband of Anne-Marie (Hébert) Robichaud, passed away at the Stella Maris Hospital, Ste. Anne de Kent, on Sunday, September 9, 2007 after a lengthy illness. Born in Rexton, NB on April 13, 1953, he was the son of the late Felix Robichaud and Madeline (Doucette) Robichaud. Léon was a Correctional Officer at the Institution of Renous. He was an avid hunter and also enjoyed walking, politics and spending time with his granddaughter, Michelle. He was a member of Jenniper Lodge and South Lake Lodge. Besides his wife, he is survived by one daughter, Mireille Robichaud of St. Margarets; two sons, Karl and Jean-Paul of St. Louis de Kent; three grandchildren, Michelle, Dawn, Nevin; seven sisters, Anna Landry (late Gerard), Dieppe, Dorice Desprès (Frankie), Moncton, Geneva Chevarie (late Ovila), St. Charles, Bernadette Richard (Joseph), St. Charles, Marie-Reine Hébert (Roger), St. Louis de Kent, Noella Cormier (Emile), Jardineville, Gilberte Réaume (Andy), Ottawa, ON; five brothers, Eloi (Emerise), St. Charles, Yvon (Hélèna), St. Louis de Kent, Ola, Richibucto, Guy (Simonne), Richibouctou-Village, Claude (Louise), St. Louis de Kent; several nieces, nephews and one aunt, Anna, age 94, of La Villa Maria, St. Louis de Kent and brothers and sisters-in-law. Predeceased by three sisters, Marie (1946), Emma (1960), Aurella (1997); and three brothers, Jean-Paul (1974), Gerald (2006) and Emery (1998). Resting at Thompson's Funeral Home, 33 Acadie St., Ribhibucto (523-4252) with visitation on Tuesday, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9, Wednesday, 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 and Thursday, 3pm until funeral. Funeral Mass will be held at St. Louis de Français Roman Catholic Church, St. Louis de Kent on Thursday, September 13, 2007, 6:00 pm.
