PARKS, EDWARD - 1919-2007 - Edward Parks, 88, husband of the Viola (Ramsay) Parks of Riverview, NB and formerly of Miramichi, NB passed away on Thursday, September 13, 2007 as a result of a traffic accident. Born in Miramichi, NB, he was the son of the late Collingwood Parks and late Agnes (Mullin) Parks. He was a member of St. Bernard's Roman Catholic Church in Moncton. He will be deeply missed by his sons: Gary (Glenda) of Fredericton and Terry (Theresa) of Rothesay; two daughters: Gayle Gallant (Jim) of Riverview and Agnes Casey (Gerald) of Walkerton, ON; five grandchildren: Scott Parks (Kelly), Craig Parks, Stephanie Gallant, Kristina Parks (Yves Perrier) and Katelyn Parks; one great granddaughter Isabella Parks. He is also survived by his sisters: Myrtle Weldon of Miramichi and Edna Allison of Whitney, NB. Edward and his wife, Viola, devoted their lives to the well-being of the their children and their children's families. In the eyes of the children, their spouses and especially their grandchildren, we were blessed. Visitation will be held at Bell's Funeral Home, 651 King George Highway, Miramichi on Sunday September 16th, 2007 from 2-4 & 7-9 PM. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated from St. Mary's Roman Catholic Church, Miramichi @ 11 AM on Monday, September 17, 2007 with Father Sam Diotte officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. In Edward's memory a donation may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, NB Kidney Foundation or a memorial of ones choice.
