FORGEY, FRED GORDON (BUD)- The death of Fred Gordon (Bud) Forgey Jr., loving husband of Jean (Quigley) Forgey occurred on Thursday September 13, 2007 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born 1928 in Saint John he was the son of the late Fred and Pearl (Cook). Bud was a Machinist working at McAvity's, Simms Company and later owned and operated Forgey Brothers Machine Shop. He enjoyed hunting, playing golf, playing the mandolin and could always be heard whistling. Besides his loving wife Jean, he is survived by his children Gary Forgey (Pearl) of Saint John and Cheryl Bergasse (Paul) of Brantford, ON; his twin granddaughters Makayla and Alexis Bergasse; sister Letitia Clark of Sussex; sisters in law Verna Forgey, Josephine Forgey and Audrey Forgey all of Saint John; and several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents he was predeceased by brothers Ferdinand, Brougham, Wallace and Bertram Forgey; sisters Ada Hines, Mary Cormier and Bertha Weir; infant siblings Pearl and William. Resting at Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road, Saint John (646-2424) with visitations on Sunday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held from Fundy Funeral Home Chapel on Monday September 17, 2007 at 2 p.m. Interment will follow in Ocean View Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
