Harold E. WARD

Harold E. Ward SACKVILLE, NB - The death of Harold E. Ward, age 78, of Sackville, occurred on Friday, September 14, 2007, at the Moncton City Hospital. Born in Sackville, he was a son of the late Murray and Beulah (Fisher) Ward. Harold was a stationary engineer employed with Corrections Canada and Mount Allison University. He was a member of the Main Street Baptist Church. Harold will be sadly missed by four sons, Donald (Cheryl), Orono, ON, Dale (Tammy McIsaac), Pictou Landing, NS, Robin (Rosalie) and Firth (Lisa), both of Sackville; ten grandchildren, Danette, Jessica, Nathan, Heather, Deborah, Jonathan, Benjamin, Nicholas, Jamie and Josie; three step grandchildren, Jeffery, Julie and Samantha; 11 great grandchildren and a special friend, Theresa Stulta, Sackville; three sisters, Betty Brown, Truro, NS, Marion Patterson, Sackville and Arlene (Marvin) Phinney, Oshawa, ON. He was predeceased by his wife, Ida; two infant children, Heather Dawn and Ian Shane; a grandson, Jeremy; brother Raymond; and sister Evelyn. The remains have been entrusted into the care of the Jones Funeral Home, 70 Bridge St., Sackville (364-1300), from where the funeral service will be held Monday, September 17, 2007 at 2 pm, Pastor Andrew Swanson officiating. Burial in the Fairhaven Memorial Gardens, Moncton. Harold's family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9. www.jonesfuneralhome.ca September 15, 2007
