DELONG, INEZ VILLA - Friends through out the community will be saddened to learn of the passing of Inez Villa (Sharpe) DeLong of Woodstock, NB, at The Carleton Memorial Hospital on Sunday, September 16, 2007. Born September 27, 1913, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Alma (Melvin) Sharpe. Inez grew up on the family farm at Jacksonville, where she attended school and went to church on a regular basis. Inez was the last surviving member of her immediate family. Survived by a daughter, Shirley Winship (Robert), Hodgdon ME; son, Ronald (Linda), Stoney Creek ON; five grandchildren, Peter and David Winship, Kenneth, Steven and Richard DeLong; five great grandchildren; two step great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents she was predeceased by her husband, Robert; her siblings. Visitation will be held at The Carleton Funeral Home 337 Lockhart Mill Road Jacksonville on Tuesday from 7:30 to 9:30. Funeral service will be held on Wednesday at 3:00PM from the Carleton Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Leonard Cousins officiating. Interment will be in the Woodstock Rural Cemetery. Expression of sympathy may be made to The Canadian Cancer Society, Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Woodstock Baptist Church.
