Thelma Joyce MILLER

Thelma Joyce Lucci 1921-2007 Port Elgin, NB - It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Thelma Joyce Lucci on Sunday, September 16th, 2007. Thelma sprang to life in Norwich, England to parents Hilda Long and Herbert Miller. Joining the British Royal Air Force during WWII, she moved to Canada in 1946, making the journey by sea on the Mesopotamia. She loved her native England and spoke of it warmly. Always greeting people with a smile, she loved drives along the sea and time with family. Thelma is survived by her brother, John Miller and is predeceased by her husband, Ronald Rutledge, brother, Peter Miller and sister, Jean Palmer. A loving and caring mother, she will be sadly missed yet fondly remembered by her children, Carol Roberts (Lester), Gary Lucci, Linda Burke (Larry) and Robert Lucci; her grandchildren, Jayne Best, Sonia Wells, Anthony Roberts, Jamie Burke, Aaron Burke and Kayla Arsenault and great-grandchildren. Donations in Thelma's memory may be made to the charity of your choice. Arrangements have been entrusted to Jones Funeral Home (www.jonesfu neralhome.ca) Port Elgin (538-2241). No visitation is scheduled. The funeral will be held Wednesday September 19th, at 1:00 pm September 18, 2007
