Isabelle M. Henry Isabelle M. Henry 85, of Moncton, with members of her loving family at her side, passed away peacefully at The Moncton Hospital on Saturday, September 15, 2007 after a long battle with Alzheimer's and other complications. Born in Bathurst, she was the daughter of the late Theophilus and Josephine (Picot) Hachey. Isabelle was retired from Simms Brush Factory, Saint John and attended St. Augustine's Roman Catholic Church, of which she was a member of the CWL and St. Augustine's Senior Citizens Club. Isabelle was one of the first believers of an elevator for St. Augustine's Church and worked many hours to help raise funds to make this project come true. Isabelle will be sadly missed by her daughters, Barbara Morley (Kerry), Peterborough, ON., Sandra Jamer (Jim) with whom she resided, Shiela Thebeau (Al), Bathurst; sons, Roger, Stuart (Theresa), both of Bathurst, Blair, Dartmouth, NS. Richard, Calgary, AB; 19 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren; brother, Amede Hachey, North Tetagouche. Extended family, Pat and Matthew, Joseph (Anna); one great grandson, of Indian Island; several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents she was predeceased by her husband, Edmond Henry (1997); sons, Gregory and Harold; several sisters and brothers. Visitation at Ferguson Knowles Funeral Home, 1657 Mountain Road, Moncton (858-1995) Monday 2 to 4, 7 to 9. Funeral mass at St. Augustine's Roman Catholic Church Tuesday, September 18, 2007, 10:30 am, Rev. Yvon Arsenault officiating. Reception following the Mass. Interment, Our Lady of Calvary Cemetery, Dieppe. In Isabelle's memory, donations to St. Augustine's Elevator Fund would be appreciated.
