Lambertus "Bert" Pieter Gorter September 19, 1922 - September 15, 2007 On Saturday, September 15, 2007, at the Brantford General Hospital, the Lord took unto Himself, Bert Gorter, in his 85th year. Beloved husband of the late Stein Gorter (January 3, 1999). Dear father of Jack and Marian Gorter of St. George, Grace and Fred Nyland of Millgrove, and Cecil and Fran Gorter of St. George. Loved grandfather of ten grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren. Also survived by his sister-in-law Jantje Gorter in the Netherlands and brother-in-law Frank and his wife Verna Damm of Goderich. Predeceased by his brother Geert and sister Lies.
