Wilma Elizabeth Vervaeke (née Dixon) Died peacefully in Brantford on Monday, September 17th, 2007 in her 81st year. Will be dearly missed by her loving husband of 59 years, Gerald, her children and their families, Wayne (Barbara), Glenn (Elizabeth), Marilyn (Bob) Makinson, Randy, Janice, Larry (Sue) and Victoria (Brian) Poncelet, 15 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. Wilma trained as an RNA and with Gerry, raised 7 children. They operated a successful business in Restoule. Upon retiring to Brantford, she took up golf, traveling, crafts, watching the Blue Jays and trying her luck at the slots. Wilma will be fondly missed by her family and many friends. Visitation with the family on Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at KITCHING, STEEPE & LUDWIG FUNERAL HOME, 146 Mill St. N., Waterdown, where A Celebration of Life will take place on Thursday, September 20, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. Interment Waterdown Cemetery.
