WARREN, ROBERT WILLIAM "BILL" - 83, It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Bill Warren of Fredericton, NB on September 15, 2007 due to complications from his battle with cancer. Bill is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Anne (Andrecheck), daughter Louise (Rick) Emery of Kelowna, BC, daughter Joan (Sid) Richdale of Halifax, NS He is predeceased by his oldest daughter Patricia Richardson and his parents Eva and Frederick Warren. Bill was born in Winnipeg, MB, Oct 6, 1923. He graduated from Queens University in 1947 with a Bach. of Science in Mining Engineering. He served in the Air force and later the Army (1942-44). During his career he managed mines across Quebec and Ontario and eventually settled in Fredericton. At the time of his retirement he was Director of Mines for the province of NB. Bill was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #4, Fredericton and a Life Member of the Assoc. of the Professional Engineers of NB. Bill was an avid golfer and curler and his retirement years were spent at Oromocto Lake in the summer and California in the winter. Bill was always ready to share a story, a drink and a laugh and he will be remembered for his great sense of humour. The family wishes to have a private service but invites friends to join them at Bishops Funeral Home for a reception Monday, September 24th from 2 - 4 pm.
