COLFORD, BERNARD EDWARD Mr. Bernard Edward Colford of Weaver Siding Road, passed away Wednesday, September 19, at Miramichi Regional Hospital, at the age of 72. Born in Weaver Siding NB, he was the son of the late Hugh & Mabel (Tucker) Colford. He was a retired lumberman and a member of the Our Lady of Annunciation Roman Catholic Church, Doaktown, NB. He is survived by one son, Scotty Colford; three sisters, Mary Colford of Fredericton, Bernice O'Keefe of Fredericton, Esther Shewciw (Peter) of Fredericton; four brothers, Vincent Colford (Peggy) of Blissfield, Burton Colford of Weaver Siding, Robert Colford (Myrtle) of Fredericton, Simon Colford of Fredericton; two brothers-in-law; Walter Merrill, Alden Jones (Mary); one sister-in-law, Lavina Jean Colford; nieces & nephews. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by three sisters, Hilda Merrill, Betty Robichaud, Louise Jones; one brother, John Colford; two brothers-in-law, Michael O'Keefe, Ned Robichaud; one sister-in-law, Patty Colford. Mr. Bernard E. Colford will be resting at Davidson's Funeral Home, 579 Main Street, Doaktown, NB, with visitation on Saturday evening from 7 to 9 and Sunday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9pm. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Monday at 11 am from Our Lady of Annunciation Roman Catholic Church, with Father Vincent Donovan officiating. Burial will follow in Holy Name of Mary Roman Catholic Cemetery. At the request of the family, donation to a memorial of ones choice would be appreciated.
