Alessandro Canton February 24, 1932 - September 18, 2007 CANTON, Alessandro - At his home on Tuesday, September 18, 2007. After a lengthy illness, Alec Canton, in his 76th year. Dearly loved husband of Josephine for 46 loving years. Loved father of David; Dino and Cathy; Raymond and Heather. Loved Nonno of Alexander and Christopher. Dear brother of Enzo and his wife Bruna; Vittorio and his wife Gabriella. Brother-in-law of Nella and Jim Magnini. Also survived by many nieces, nephews and relatives. Alec was a member of the Venetian Club for over 50 years. A special thank you to Joanne Norwood for her compassion and care. Visitation at FRISCOLANTI FUNERAL CHAPEL, 43 Barton Street East (near James) on Friday 3-9 p.m. with Vigil Prayers at 3:30 p.m. Funeral Mass will be offered at Regina Mundi Parish on Saturday, September 22, 2007 at 11 a.m. Private Cremation to follow.
