STURGEON, Brenda (nee Moore) - Born March 7, 1941 in Sudbury, Ontario passed away suddenly at her home on Thursday, August 23, 2007 at 66 years of age. Loving wife of the late Olly (Horace) Sturgeon (2001). Devoted mother of Diane and her husband Heiko Walder of Guelph and Shelley and her husband Mike Baptie of Peterborough. Adored Grandma of Vivian, Charlie, Lorraine and Laura. Dear sister of Gail and her husband Robert Horner of Mindemoya, Ontario. Auntie Brenda to Lori and Natalie. She was a beloved friend to many. Dear daughter of the late John and Myrtle Moore. Brenda leaves behind a legacy of caring and compassion to both her family and her patients during her forty years in the nursing profession. Visitation will be held on Saturday from 7-9 pm at COMSTOCK FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE, 356 Rubidge Street, followed by a funeral service on at 3:00 pm Sunday, August 26, 2007 in the chapel.
