SMITH, Theresa (Née Rogers) - 1928- 2007 - It is with great sorrow the family announces that on June 24, 2007 Theresa Smith has gone to meet her husband Hugh (February 26, 1980) and her daughter Dianne Makuz (June 23, 2006). Loving mother of Allan Smith of Kitchener, Margaret (John) Vukelich of Schumacher and John Smith (Gary) of Cape Breton, N.S. She is also survived by her son-in-law Alex Makuz of Toronto and daughter-in-law Cheryl Smith of Freelton. Dear grandmother of Shawn (fiancée Amy) Vukelich, Shelley (Mike) Carriere, Shannon Vukelich, Jennifer (Carlo) Obillos, Justin Smith, Katie Hartling and Stefano Makuz. Great grandmother of Fisher and Elliot Obillos. Sister of Alfred, Louise, Eileen, Helen and Alice. She will be sadly missed by many nieces and nephews including her godchild and special friend Liz (Don) Poleski and her family. Funeral mass will be held on Thursday, June 28, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. from Sacred Heart Church. Interment at Timmins memorial Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, remembrance donations to the Schumacher Lions Club Park Project would be appreciated.
