RICARD, Réjeanne Jeannie 19442007 - The family announces with great sorrow her death at the Timmins & District Hospital on Wednesday, July 4th, 2007 at the age of 63 years. Beloved wife of Roger Sturgeon of Kirkland Lake. Mother of Carole Marie Ricard-Riley (husband Bryan) of St. Catharines, Ont. Grandmother of Michelle and Kyle Riley both of St. Catharines, Ont. Sister of Raymonde Fleury (husband Gilles) of Timmins and Alphonsine Marie St-Gelais. Aunt to Joey, Julie, Jasmine, Jennifer, Matthew, Destiny, Jordain, Justin, Jeannie & Estelle. Dearest friend of Mary Vandeberg, Paula Maurer, Jenny McCaunal, Albert Morne & many more. Mother in-law Mildred Sturgeon of Kirkland Lake and her sisters in-law Darlene (Jacques), Wanda (Dan) and her brothers in-law David Sturgeon (Tanya) and Brian Sturgeon. Predeceased by her mother Annette Généreux, her father Albert Généreux, her brother Alphonse St-Gelais and her father in-law Edmond Sturgeon. Réjeanne was born on March 16th, 1944 in Timmins, Ontario. She has resided in Kirkland Lake, Ontario for over 30 years time. Réjeanne worked as a waitress for many years at the Don-Lou Restaurant and Peter's Steak House in Kirkland Lake. A memorial service will be held on July 14th, 2007 at 4 p.m. at Hockey Heritage North in Kirkland Lake. Reverend David Naylor will be officiating. Interment will take place at a later date at the Timmins Memorial Cemetery in Timmins, Ontario. Remembrance donations to the Ontario Heart & Stroke Foundation or the Canadian Cancer Society would be greatly appreciated.
