Louise CECCHINI

BACCEGA, Louise (nee Cecchini) - May 31,1922 – July 16, 2007 - In memory of Louise Baccega who passed away peacefully at the age of 85, with family by her side at the Timmins and District Hospital. She was predeceased by her loving husband Fiorenzo (1985), her parents Emilio and Maria, her brothers Bruno Cecchini, Jack Cecchini and Frank Cecchini. She will be sadly missed by her daughter June Gosselin (Colin) of Blind River and her son Robert Baccega (Diane) of Timmins, her sister Anita Giffin (Garth) of Oromocto, NB, by her brother Emilio Cecchini (Janet) of Capreol and her sister-in-law June Cecchini of Capreol and by many nieces and nephews, especially Lena Mascioli (Norm) who was always there for support. Cherished grandmother of Krista St-Jules (Shane), Jimmy Gosselin (Stephanie), Tiffany Lediett (John), Sean Gosselin, Lee Ann Gosselin, Tracey Potvin (Benjie) and Chad Baccega (Elle) and great grandmother of Matthew, Alyssa, Ryan, Calista, Joshua, Aidan and Anthony. Born in Sedegliano, Province of Udine, Italy, she immigrated to Canada in 1930 and married in 1942. They moved to Timmins and made it their home since the early 1950's. She was an active member of the Porcupine Dante Club, Past President of the Dante Club Ladies Auxiliary and was a member of the Sacred Heart Church C.W.L. She enjoyed reading and knitting and spending time with family. We would like to express heartfelt thanks to Dr. Smith and the staff of the East Wing at the Golden Manor for their patience and loving care. A funeral service celebrating her life will be held on Thursday July 19, 2007 at 11 am at the Sacred Heart Church with Fr Mitch Sliwa officiating. Interment will follow at the Timmins Memorial Cemetery. Remembrance donations made to the Sacred Heart Church Elevator Fund or to the Lung Association will be greatly appreciated.
