Kivioja, Taimi (née Puska) - 1923 - 2007. The family announces with sorrow her death on Thursday July 19, 2007 at the Timmins and District Hospital, at the age of 84. Predeceased by her husband Urho in 1983, her son Oliver in 1981, 1 infant son, her sister Minerva Kochmanski and her brother Oiva Puska. Loving mother of Kauno Kivioja (Susan) of Fenwick, Viola Mattinen (Ron) of Timmins, Diana Kivioja of Ottawa and John Kivioja of Schumacher. Dear grandmother of Kelly Kivioja-Armstrong (Rob), Kara Kivioja, Ken Mattinen, Michael Mattinen (Lyne Rivet), David Mattinen (Jennifer Drover), Larry Welin, Allan Welin (Tammy) and Glen Kivioja. She will be sadly missed by her great-grandchildren Graham, Russel, Shane, Mickayla, Stéfanie, Nicolas, Aiden, Liam, Mats, Keely, Deven, Sara, Haley and Isaac. Also survived by many nieces and nephews Taimi was a member of St-Johns Lutheran Church and volunteered her time at Kulta Koti. A funeral service will be held on Saturday July 21, 2007 at 11 am in the funeral home chapel. Interment will follow at the Timmins Memorial Cemetery. Remembrance donations made to the Alzheimer Society or to the Charity of your choice will be greatly appreciated.
