Parsons, Elva Jane - 1911-2007 - The family announces with sorrow her death on Monday, July 30, 2007 at the Timmins and District Hospital at the age of 96. Predeceased by her husband Percival Parsons, her sons Floyd Parsons and Sandy Parsons, and her daughter Violet Secord. Survived by her children Jack Parsons of Schumacher, Zona Dumoulin of Thunder Bay, Marie Huard (Leo) of Sudbury; her daughter-in-law Cecile Parsons of London, her son-in-law Alex Secord of Timmins, as well as many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. She will also be missed by her special bingo friends Linda and Adrien Carriere. The family wishes to thank Dr. Woods for her excellent care. Funeral service will be held on Thursday, August 2, 2007 at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Lessard-Stephens Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Timmins Memorial Cemetery.
