KOTYK, Carole Lee (nee Reaume) With great sadness we mourn her passing on Wednesday, September 5, 2007 at age 70 after a lengthy battle with cancer. Cherished mother of David & Jennifer, Daniel, Timothy, Thomas & Debra, Cindy & Ron Dupuis, Cathy & Simon Dreise, Tammy & Jason Knapp. Devoted grandmother of Steven & Rachel, Michael, Brian, Ashley, T.J., Kyle, Alyscia, Kennedy, Colson, Larsyn. Great-grandmother of Olivia and Baby Kotyk. Loving sister of Jeanine Mailloux and Shirley Biers. Aunt and great-aunt to many nieces and nephews. God-mother of Lori H. Longtime devoted extended family of Walter & Marlene, Joe & Donna, Joe & Caroline Fausbender, Barb & Joe Van Niekuk, Dave & Gail Quesnel. Predeceased by mother Dorothy, father George, Gwendlyn Wheeler (Grandma Gert), Helen, Frank, Larry and niece Sarah. A heartfelt thank you to Dr. Dale Ziter and Dr. Mike Ziter for their great care, friendship and guidance, as well as Dr. Alum and Dr. Layton. Thank you to the emergency and 4 West oncology staff at Windsor Regional Hospital, Met Campus for going over and beyond the call of duty for Carole and her family. Carole retired in 2001 after 21 years of service at G.M. Transmission Plant and was a member of C.A.W. Local 1973. She will be missed by many. At Carole's request, cremation will take place. Visitation and a remembrance of her life will be held at WINDSOR CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME 1700 Tecumseh Rd. East on Friday, September 7, 2007 from 2-5 and 7 p.m. until time of Memorial Service at 8 p.m. in the Chapel. Fr. Tom Ashton officiating. The interment of ashes will take place in a private family vigil at Heavenly Rest Cemetery alongside her father. In lieu of flowers, Carole requests donations to Windsor Regional Cancer Centre or the Heart & Stroke Foundation.
