MARECEK, Mary (nee Matocha) Passed away peacefully on Thursday, August 28, 2007 at Sunnycrest Nursing Home, Whitby, two weeks before her one hundredth birthday. Beloved wife, for 54 years, of the late Anthony Marecek (1983). Loving mother of Gerry Turek and husband, Peter, of Grand Rapids, MI, and Linda Turner and husband, Brent, of Oshawa. Predeceased by her sons Stanley and Anthony. Proud and cherished grandmother of eight grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren. Mary came to Windsor from Czechoslovakia and worked very hard to provide a wonderful life for her family. She will be remembered for her warmth, generosity and beautiful smile. Visitation at Sts. Cyril & Methodius Church, 1532 Alexis Rd. at Seminole St., on Thursday, August 30, 2007 from noon until time of funeral Mass at 1:00 p.m. Interment Heavenly Rest Cemetery.
