MATTHEWS, Robert Passed away peacefully with his loving family by his side on August 19, 2007 at the age of 75 years. Cherished husband of the late Eleanor (nee Snyder) (1994). Loving father of Shelly and husband Richard Brierley, Heather and husband Richard Scully, Randal Matthews, Gerald Matthews and wife Darlene, Elizabeth Matthews and husband Pat. Dear grandfather of Nicole and Marcel, Amanda and Ryan, Heidi, Mitchell, Drey, Alex, Matthew and Andrew and great-grandpa to Justin and Lukas. Robert worked at Chrysler's for 25 years. If you so desire, donations to the Diabetes Association would be appreciated by the family. At Robert's request cremation has taken place. Memorial visitation Wednesday 10:30 a.m. followed by memorial service at 11:30 a.m. at Families First Funeral Home & Tribute Centre (519-969-5841) 3260 Dougall Ave. with Major Vi Chalk officiating.
