Steve NIKSICH

NIKSICH, Steve At Grey-Bruce Health Services, Owen Sound, on Wednesday, September 5, 2007, Steve Niksich, age 86 of Chatham, beloved husband of the late Ann (Mihalich) (2004). Born in Croatia in 1920, son of the late Rose (Niksich) and Peter Niksich, he came to Canada in 1929 and worked for Ontario Hydro for over 30 years, retiring in 1983. He will be sadly missed by: a daughter, Helen Ralphs of Owen Sound and a son Robb of California; 2 grandchildren, Christine Heymans of Amherstburg, and Michael Ralphs and his wife Viviana of Waterdown. 2 great grandchildren, Erick and Joshua. He will also be sadly missed by a brother Paul Niksich of Chicago, a sister in law Vera Reba of Idaho and several nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by a son-in-law Stan Ralphs. Friends and relatives may call at the Hinnegan Peseski Funeral Home, 156 William St. S. Chatham from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. on Monday, September 10, 2007. Chapel Service will be conducted in The Hinnegan-Peseski Funeral Home , on Tuesday, September 11, 2007 at 11 am with Rev. Dr. Carolyn R. Niksich-Harp officiating. Burial will take place in St. Anthony's Cemetery. Donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Diabetes Association would be appreciated.
