Barbara Ann TOLMIE

PHELPS, Barbara Ann (nee Tolmie) 71 years passed away suddenly at her late residence. Beloved mother of Joel & Suzanne Phelps and Jennifer & Bob Switzer. Cherished grandmother of Bobby and Sheri Switzer. Predeceased by her late parents Charles & Elizabeth Tolmie and brother and sister-in-law Chuck (Charlie) and Eleanor Tolmie (1996). Dearest Aunt of Rick, Chuck Jr., Nancy Parent, Jim, John, Mary Ellen, Dan and Scott Tolmie. Special friend of Joanne Laforet and Tony Moore, Marilyn (Till) and Kai Friis, Sheila Dennison, Christina & Jacob Valliqette, Wendy Lewis and Betsy & John Magner. Barbara was a nursing graduate of Grace Hospital Class of 1957. Barb was an avid sports fan especially the Toronto Maple Leafs. She also loved her cats Smokey and Basil and was very committed to the love and care of homeless animals. At Barbara's request cremation has taken place. Arrangements in trusted to the Janisse Bros-Marcotte Funeral Home, 1139 Ouellette Avenue. Interment at Victoria Memorial Gardens. Published in the Windsor Star on 9/1/2007.
