PURDIE, Orlene (nee Dube) Born Sept. 22, 1925 Died Aug. 14, 2007, 82 years. Passed away in her sleep. Predeceased by her husband Francis (1977) and her parents Earl & Ruth Dube. Devoted mother of Barry & Rhonda Purdie, Earl & Sherry Purdie, Gail & Tim Nicholson, Linda & Tony Hall, Bradley & Yvette Purdie, David Purdie, Margo Purdie, Casey Purdie, Tim & Lynda Purdie. Loving grandmother of Jennifer, Tyler, Marcus, Danielle, James, Donald, Drew and Riley. Dear sister of Thomas & Lois Dube, Joseph & Lorraine Dube, Jean Dube and Kay Gale. Predeceased by Garfield Dube. Dear sister-in-law of Norman & Eileen Purdie, Anita Purdie, Jennie Purdie and predeceased by her husband Thomas Purdie, Jack & Ilo Purdie, Rose Chronis. Orlene was the proprietor of Anderdon Mechanical for many years. The family would like to extend a special thank you to all the staff of Richmond Nursing Home, for their exceptional care, the Amherstburg Fire Department and the A.A.M. Ambulance Squad for their assistance during this time. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or the charity of your choice would be appreciated. At Orlene's request, there will be NO VISITATION at the Funeral Home. Friends are requested to meet directly at St. John The Baptist Church, 225 Brock St., Amherstburg Friday August 17, 2007 for Funeral Mass at 10:30 a.m. Interment St. John The Baptist Cemetery.(Funeral arrangements entrusted to the JAMES H.
