SMITH, AnnaBelle (MacLeod --a very proud Scout!) With great sadness we mourn her passing on Thursday September 6, 2007 at 89 years. Cherished mother of late Lloyd Smith, Brian Smith, Sherry & Arnie Rivett, Mary Lynn & Don Whittal, Bonnie & George Tarcia. Loving sister to Jessie & Harry Lutz of Kelona BC, late Mae & Arnie Bateman, late Johnny Macleod & wife Margaret, and late Robert Macleod all from Swan River, Manitoba. Devoted and loving Grandmother to Shawn Filice & wife Dominique Rodier, Heather & Peter Buchanan, Carrie & Jeff Burgess, Bryan & Andrea Rivett and Brad Rivett. Great grandmother to Eliane, Joel, Ryan, Shane, Kyle, Melanie, Ava and Grace. Survived by many nieces and nephews.Our heartfelt thanks to Dr. Sheina Handscomb and Dr. McFarlane for giving her such wonderful care so that we were able to share and enjoy many years with her.She will be sadly missed by Carol, great friends, neighbors and Princess-her beautiful Persian kitty. Thanks to her neighbors who were always watching over her and helping her so that she was able to remain independent and live in her favorite place called "home". A family memorial service will be held at the LaSalle Funeral Home, 2130 Front Road (519-734-0410) on Monday September 10, 2007 at 11am. Rev. Murray Steacy officiating.
