SWEET: James "Jim" Passed away peacefully with his loving family by his side, on August 17, 2007 at Hotel-Dieu Grace Hospital, at the age of 82 years. Late of Essex. Dear husband of the late Mabel Quick. Loving father Kathy Dries (Paul) of Leamington. Dan Sweet (Gina) of Kingsville, Tim Sweet of Windsor & Lori Gillanders (Dave) of Leamington. Cherished grandfather & great grandfather to 15 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren. Dear brother to Ray Sweet. Predeceased by one daughter Sharon Wilkinson (1998). Jim was a caretaker at Essex District High School for many years. Visiting at the Kennedy Funeral Home, 128 Talbot Street North, Essex (519-776-7378) on Monday from 2 5 pm, & 7 9 pm. Funeral service to be held in the funeral home on Tuesday, August 21, 2007 at 11:00 am. Rev. Colin Swan officiating. Interment in Greenhill Cemetery.
