Rita Helen STREIFEL

STREIFEL Rita Helen born October 19th, 1924 passed away September 2nd, 2007 at Royal Columbian Hospital at the age of 82 years. Rita went for a simple gall bladder surgery and passed due to complications of CDiff. She has joined her husband Mike Streifel and daughter Linda Fichter. She is survived by her 4 children Carol Klassen, Wayne Streifel, Dan Streifel and Tammy Wollenberg; 7 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. Rita will also be greatly missed by her sisters and brothers, nieces and nephews and lifelong friends. "'Gentle"' is the word that best describes Rita. She loved unconditionally and gave generously to all and never an unkind word we have heard. Rita was humbly proud of her accomplishments, but her greatest love was for her family. Her faith remained steadfast throughout her life and sustained her through her trials and tribulations. She will be greatly missed but we feel blessed in this life ''we were loved by Rita."'
