Margaret Eveline LUTZ

BATTIE, Margaret Eveline (nee Lutz) Born January 26, 1929 near Lipton Saskatchewan, died August 28, 2007 in Victoria Hospice. Predeceased by her husband Jack in 1981. Survived by her loving children: daughter Kathryn (Frank) Beaumier, son Donald, grandchildren Christine, John, Joe, Karen and Lisa, and special great-granddaughter, Ashley. Mom loved her tomatoes and enjoyed bowling and shuffleboard. She lived life her way. Many thanks to the volunteers and staff at Hospice for making Mom's final journey easier. A special thank you to her friends: especially Tess for staying with mom and Sandy for her daily visits and companionship. Funeral service will be held at Sands Funeral Chapel, 317 Goldstream Avenue, Victoria, BC on Friday September 7, 2007 at 1:00 pm. Interment to follow at Hatley Memorial Gardens. No flowers by request. Donations, if desired, may be made in Margaret's name to a charity of your choice.
