De MELO, Maria Guilhermina Born in Achadinha, Portugal on August 13th, 1921. Passed away peacefully at the age of 86 on August 24th, 2007 at Royal Jubilee Hospital with family at her side. She will be dearly missed by her children, Jorgina (Nick), Liberio (Natalia), Joao, stepdaughter Connie, grandchildren Antonio (Sonia), Lino (Pam), Gina (Shane), Marcia (Marco), Anecio, Leanna and Alexia. Maria was predeceased by her beloved husband Antonio Moniz, but joined him 5 days before his birthday. Our family would like to thank all of you for your love and support. We would also like to send a special thanks to Dr. Conway, the community health worker's at Beacon Community services and the staff at Royal Jubilee Hospital, who made Maria's last days as comfortable as possible. Prayers will be offered at Our Lady Of Fatima Church, 4635 Elk Lake Drive on Tuesday, August 28th at 7pm. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Our Lady of Fatima Church, on Wednesday, August 29th at 10am. Celebrant Reverend Manuel Cardoso. Interment will follow at Royal Oak Burial Park.
