EVANS, Richard Owen Denby It is with deep sadness we mourn the passing of Denby at the age of 85. Born to Richard and Mary Evans in Trochu, Alberta. He will be deeply missed by his daughter Pat Hook (Tom), son Dick (Mary), grandchildren Aaron and Joleen Smith (Rob) and great grandchildren Kynan and little Denby, brother Dave (Aleta), sister-inlaws June, Ethel, Willa, Donna and many nieces and nephews. Denby was predeceased by his loving wife ZelIa, brothers Bill and Trevor and sister Nancy. Denby was well respected by many people in the community. He belonged to the fellowship of AA and lived this philosophy for the past 57 years of his life. "God grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, The courage to change the things I can And the wisdom to know the difference. " A celebration of his life will be held at First Memorial, 4725 Falaise Drive, Victoria, BC on September 5th, 2007 at 2:00 PM.
