McGREGOR, Muriel Margaret - In loving memory of Mrs. Muriel Margaret McGregor who passed away at the Englehart & District Hospital, on Thursday, July 12, 2007 at the age of 88. She had been living at the Northview Nursing Home for 2 years prior to her death. Muriel was born in Burritt's Rapids on Feb. 25, 1919 to Charles Gough and Fanny (Perkins). She was educated in Kemptville, Ont., and married Lloyd McGregor in Hamilton Ont. on March 10, 1944. She came to Sesekinika shortly after her marriage and lived in the Kirkland Lake area and at Northwood Camp where she raised her family of 5 children, and worked part time delivering rural mail. She moved to New Liskeard with her husband in 1969 where she and Lloyd enjoyed retirement; spending time with family and participating in many of the senior activities. Pre- deceased by her husband Lloyd, parents Charles and Fanny Gough, siblings Winifred, Henry, Veryl and Gordon. She is survived by her children Margaret (Marson), Heather (Johnston), Kenneth McGregor, Rae (Hansman), Bryan McGregor and her sister Bertie (Thompson). Also, she will be sadly missed by her 12 grandchildren & 2 great grandchildren. Cremation has taken place. Internment to follow at the Kemptville Union Cemetery on Monday August 20, 2007 at 2 pm.
