MELANSON, Marie Louise (Nee Langlois) 1931-2007 - The family announces with great sorrow her peaceful passing at the Timmins & District Hospital while surrounded by her loving family on Thursday, August 2nd, 2007 at the age of 75 years. Loving wife of the late Laurent Melanson (1994). Dearest mother of Laurent Z. Melanson Jr. (wife Lise), Fernand Melanson (wife Lynne) all of Timmins, Diane Blake (husband Jim) of Edmonton, Suzanne Charette (husband Emile) of Timmins and Ron Melanson (wife Nancy) of Schumacher. Grandmother of Laurent Melanson III (Amanda) of Lively, Daniel Melanson (Michelle) of Timmins, Julie Cochrane (husband Alex) of South Porcupine, Fern Melanson Jr. (wife Jasmine) of Thunder Bay, Scott Duncan of St. Catharines, Ont., Brett Duncan, Patrick Charette (wife Tanya) of Welland, Ont., Marc Charette (Ashley) of Timmins, Donald Charette away at school in Ottawa, Ron Melanson Jr. , Stéphanie Melanson and Meagan-Ann Cornelson all of Schumacher. Great grandmother of Hannah Boudreau, Alex Cochrane Jr., Justin Cochrane, Samantha Cochrane, Aja Marie Melanson, Bailey Melanson, Brandon Charette, Lisa Chénier and Breanne Chénier. Survived by her sister Georgette Labrèche and her brother Etienne Langlois both of St. Catharines. Predeceased by her siblings; Tom Langlois, Maurice Langlois, Cécile Cloutier, Aurore Cloutier, Julia Décarie and Edouard Langlois. Aunt to many nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, August 6th, 2007 in the CHAPEL of the MIRON-WILSON FUNERAL HOME, Fr. Simon Drapeau will be officiating. Interment will follow at the Timmins Memorial Cemetery. Remembrance donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Canadian Red Cross would be greatly appreciated. The family will receive friends on Sunday, August 5th, 2007 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the MIRON- WILSON FUNERAL HOME, 150 Balsam St., S., Timmins.
