LABRECHE, Charles Edward - The family announces with sorrow his unexpected passing on Wednesday August 15, 2007 at the Timmins and District Hospital. Beloved husband of the Late Joan (nee Mulligan) in 1991. Loving father of Paul (Debby) Labreche, Don (Karen) Labreche, Debbie (Hampton) MacCoy, and Mark (Bev) Labreche. Loving grandfather of Jason (Tammy), Trevor (Lianna) and Christopher Labreche; Chad (Melissa) and Dean Labreche; Shane Shannon, Wade, Reilly (Stephanie), Courtney (Rob) MacCoy and Lindsay (Will) Labreche. Devoted great grandfather of Brady & Brennan, Zoey & Mia MacCoy; Justin, Dylan and Aydan Labreche. Dear brother of Damien (Danny) of Welland, and Hugette (John) Tomashewski of Apple Valley, California. Sadly missed by brother in law Stan Soneff & Orval Theroux and sister in laws Shirley Mulligan and Beverly Carde and many nieces and nephews. Charlie was predeceased by his parents Paul and Elian, sister Jeaninne, brother Sebastian/Tommy, sister in law Theresa Soneff and brother-in-law Lorne Pearson. He had been employed by the City Of Timmins for 26 years and was a member of the Whitney Volunteer Fire Department for 24 years. ‘Pops' lived for his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. He was most happy when surrounded by family and visitors. Remembrance donations to North Eastern Region Cancer Society made through the funeral home will be gratefully acknowledged by the family. According to his wishes, cremation has taken place. The family will receive friends on Friday August 17th from 2:00 p.m.to 4:00 p.m and 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday at Paroisse St. Joachim's Parish at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow in Tisdale Cemetery beside his wife Joan.
