BOUCHER, Julien André - 1935-2007. The family announces with sorrow his death on August 18, 2007 at the Timmins and District Hospital, at the age of 71 years. Loving father of Nicole Boucher-Schavo (Brian) of London. Dear grandfather of Gregg Duthie (Chantal) of Milton and Michelle Duthie (Craig) of Whitby. Dear brother of Yvon Boucher (Angéline) of Timmins and Thérèse Savoie (late Alcide) of Blind River. He is survived by his dear one Lucia and her family; children Fern, Jerry and Normand; grandchildren Fern Jr., Willie, Tanya, Brandon, Nicholas, Corey, Austin and Naomi. Also survived by his very special friends Caroline and Elisha. Predeceased by his brothers Gaston, Maurice, Laurier, Paul, Willy, Felix. Julien spent part of his youth touring a Professional Wrestling Circuit and was known as the “French Batman”. He was later the owner of Boucher Logging. He will always be remembered as a very caring, loving and kind hearted. He was always very generous with others. The family would like to extend a special thank you to Charles Savoie for all his help and guidance. A special thank you also to Kathleen Auclair for designing and creating the prayer cards and also a special thank you to Nicole Boucher-Belanger for her special words “ On marche dans le corridor de la noirceur, Et on soutient à nos peines, Mais on n'oublie jamais les souvenirs de notre amour, Qui un jour, nous apporterons, À nous joindre dans le pays de la lumière.” A funeral service will be held on Wednesday August 22, 2007 at 11 am at St. Dominique Church. Remembrance donations made to the Good Samaritan Inn, a charity very dear to him, will be greatly appreciated.
