WARREN, Ilma (nee Mantyla) - In Loving Memory of Ilma Warren (nee Mantyla) Passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday August 21st, 2007. Aged 88 yrs of South Porcupine. Beloved wife of Douglas. Loving mother of Trevor (Bonnie). Cherished grandmother of Debbie (Rob), Sherry (Garry), Shane (Tamara) and Melissa (Jarod). Dear great grandmother of Richard, Corey, Jamie, Darryl, Dawson, & Amy. Great-great grandmother of Sage. Ilma was predeceased by her sister Helen Krankovich, her brother Ray Mantyla and good friend and sister in law Daisy Nicholson. She was born in Finland and was a lifetime resident of the Porcupine Camp. She was a seamstress who drew great pleasure from making wedding dresses and accessories. Ilma was a great cook. She enjoyed working in the garden and loved spending time with her family. Remembrance donations received through the funeral home to the Timmins and District Hospital will be gratefully acknowledged by the family. According to her wishes cremation has taken place a private family service will take place at a later date.
