BÉLEC, Léo Émile - 1944-2007 - The family announces with sorrow his passing on Thursday August 23, 2007 at the Timmins and District Hospital, at the age of 63 years. He is predeceased by his daughter Suzanne Lefebvre (Ron) and survived by his children Jean-Paul Bélec, Diane Cayen (Russel) Jo-Hanne Bélec and Robert Bélec (Tara). Grandfather of Dean and Amanda Cayen, Eric and Stéphane Bélec and Talisa, Ryleigh and Joshua Bélec. Léo is survived by his siblings: Claude Bélec (Lorraine), Yvette Lauzon (late Robert), Denise Thibeault (late David), Hubert Bélec (Paulette), Pierre Bélec (Yvette), Gilberte Prince (Carl), Léon Bélec (Irène), Yvon “Joe” Bélec (Ghislaine Laverdure), Louise Bélec and Rolland Bélec (Céline). He is also survived by the mother of his children Délima Morrissette. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his parents Hector and Valentine and by his sister Claire Dubé and his brother-in- law Normand Dubé.A memorial service will be held on Tuesday August 28, 2007 at 10:30 am in the funeral home chapel. IN LIEU OF FLOWERS, remembrance donations made to the Canadian Cancer Society will be greatly appreciated.
