LACHANCE, Eric Omer - In Loving Memory of Eric Omer Lachance. The family announces with sorrow Eric's sudden passing at home on Wednesday August 29th, 2007 at the age of 50. Loving son of Antoinette (nee Lessard) and the Late Omer Francis Lachance. Dear brother of Marc (Ann) Lachance of Timmins, Aline Lachance also of Timmins,Mona Kalcic of Calgary, Jackie Mracek of Porcupine and brother-in- law Bill Mracek. He will be sadly missed by his nieces and nephews Pamela (Jamie) Gamble, Melanie Kalcic, James Mracek, Jennifer Mracek, Stephen Bigras and Katherine Bigras. Eric was a Mechanical Engineer at Kidd Creek for 25 years. He was an avid Bridge player and was Life Master of the Timmins Bridge Club. Remembrance donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation, the Crohn's and Colitis Foundation of Canada or the Canadian Cancer Society made through the funeral home will be gratefully acknowledged by the family. A Memorial Service will be held at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday September 1st, 2007 at Stinson Funeral Home with the Deacon Michel Neron officiating, accompanied by organist/soloist Chantal Delorme.
