FULTON, Hugh Graham - Born in 1940 and raised in Upper Stewiacke, Nova Scotia. Suddenly on Saturday afternoon, July 14th, 2007 at Picton, Ontario, his true heaven on earth. Predeceased by his parents, Florence in 1973 and Graham in 1986. Beloved husband of Miriam for 44 years. Dear father to Craig and his wife Tana, Carron and her husband Brad Spagnolo, Derek and his wife Michelle; grandchildren Brittany, Melissa, Tyler and Alannah; brother Victor and his wife Judy and sister Janice and her husband Ronald. He attended Brookfield Rural High School. In 1958 he joined Imperial Oil and began his career in Halifax. In 1966 he was transferred to Toronto where he stayed until his retirement in 1993. Hugh was a “loyal Nova Scotian or true Blue Noser”. Travel was one of Hugh's passions so after retirement he decided to go back to school and take travel and tourism and later worked as a tour guide for Toronto and the Niagara Region. Hugh and Miriam recently purchased a winter home in Parksville, British Columbia. It was their dream to spend summers in Picton and winters in Parksville. Only 4 months ago they moved their permanent home from Port Hope to Picton, Ontario, and it was there that he left us. A service was held on Thursday, July 19th at 11:00 a.m. at the Oshawa Funeral Home, 847 King Street West, Oshawa, ON L1J 2L4. Donations can be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation. 10773317
