Annastachia IWANKOW

WELHAN, Anne (Iwankow) - Beloved wife of Daniel Joseph Welhan, passed away at Bluewater Health-Mitton Site early Friday Morning at the age of 79. Born in Wroxton, Saskatchewan on November 3, 1927. Anne was the eldest child of Caroline and Nicholas Iwankow. She spent her early childhood in the nearby rural community of Kamsack, Saskatchewan before her family moved to Winnipeg, Manitoba in 1935, where she and Dan were married in 1949. Since 1974 they have resided in Sarnia, where Dan worked at Imperial Oil. Anne is survived by her brother Walter Iwankow, her children Carol and John and grandchildren Manuel, Lydia, Daniel, and Justine. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at St. George's Ukrainian Church (1055 Rosedale Avenue) on Wednesday October 3, 2007 at 10:00 a.m. with Fr. Yarema officiating.
