TURNER, George - Peacefully at home surrounded by his family on Saturday, September 29, 2007. George Turner beloved husband of Beryl Riordan. Loving father of June Read (Derek) of South Africa and Kim Turner (Darrell Cross) of Lansdowne. Dear step father of Christine Jennings of Kingston and the late Timothy Jennings. Dearest Poppa of Samantha, Mickayla, Lavinia, David and Mandy. Also survived by 2 great grandchildren. Predeceased by 2 sisters Lily and Mabel and 2 brothers Fred and Harold. The family will receive friends at the TOMPKINS FUNERAL HOME 63 Garden St., Gananoque on Tuesday evening from 7- 9pm. A memorial service will be held in the chapel on Wednesday, October 3 at 1pm. Inurnment at a later date. Legion Branch #92 will have a service at the Funeral Home Tuesday evening at 6:30pm.
