SALSBURY, Harold “Owen” - Retired Canada Post Following a difficult struggle with cancer, Owen died peacefully at home on Monday, October 1, 2007, surrounded by his beloved family. Loving son of the late Harold Bradley Salsbury and Edna Enderson. He will be sadly missed by his wife of 55 years, Mary Kelly, his children Susan (Leger), Jennifer, Heather, Peter (Teri) and Lana (Ron) and by his grandchildren Lucas Tingle, Kristie Salsbury, Dana, Natalie, Graeme and Allison Salsbury and Andrew Price. He was also the adored “Papa“ to his great-granddaughter Rilyn. He is survived, also, by his sister Shirley Sharpe (Del) of Calgary, his brother-in-law James Kelly (Jane) and their children. Owen's many friends will be welcomed at the JAMES REID FUNERAL HOME, Cataraqui Chapel (1900 John Counter Blvd. at Highway 2) on Thursday, October 4, 2007 from 5 to 9 pm. Cremation, having taken place, a Memorial Service will be held in the chapel on Friday, October 5, 2007 at 1 pm, followed by inurnment at the Cataraqui Cemetery. For those wishing to do so, memorial donations to the South East Community Care Access Centre Palliative Care, the Kingston Chapter of the Canadian Cancer Society or the Kingston Humane Society, would be welcomed. 10850970
