MEECHAM, Spence Wayne - Peacefully at home with loved ones, in his 77th year on September 30th, 2007. Predeceased by parents Gladys and Percy Meecham. Spence gave his unconditional love to his entire family. Returning his love in full measure are his wife Ada (nee Fairbairn) and their children Reg Meecham (Lisa), Sandra Mackey (Steve), Russ Fairbairn (Diane), Fred Fairbairn (Susan), Susan McKenzie (Bryan) and surrogate son Rob Silvestri (Cindy). To his grandchildren, Spence was “Grumps“ and he loved and was much loved by Jennifer, Neil, Christopher (Bam Bam), Rachel and Jason. Spence was a long time member of Sunningdale Golf and Country Club in London, Ontario and a proud twenty-eight year member of the Peterborough Golf and Country Club. He received his fifty-year Shrine certificate in April of this year and was an involved member of the Peterborough business community. Respecting his wishes cremation has taken place.
