FISHER, Velma Anne (Buckingham) - Peacefully at Peterborough, Ontario on Sunday, September 30, 2007 in her 95th year. Beloved wife of the late Stan Fisher. Dear mother of Robert Fisher (Sharon), Judy Alarie (Frank - deceased), Joan Sweeney (Bob), and Barbara Collins (Bob). Dear sister of Betty Dugdale and Gail Shelp (Jim). Survived by sisters-in-law, Edith and Alice Buckingham, Mary Fisher, Muriel Fisher and Margaret Fisher. Loving grandmother of Greg (Cindy), Ken (Lynne), J-P (Sarah), Mike, Tawnya (Steve), Kelly (Ray), Vanessa (Scott), Lindsay (Peter), Whitney, and great grandchildren Emily, Brianna, Mikhayla, Reece, Kira, Chris, Sarah, Kaitlyn, Sam, R-J, Maxine, Evelyn, and Spencer as well as many nieces, nephews and friends. Friends and relatives are invited to a Service of Remembrance on Wednesday, October 3rd, 2007 at Princess Gardens, 100 Charlotte Street, Peterborough at 1:30 p.m. Reverend Robert Ball officiating. Cremation has taken place. Flowers gratefully declined. Donations to Northminster United Church Memorial Fund would be appreciated by the family.
