Isabelle McGhee, of Hanover, passed away at Hanover and District Hospital on Friday, September 28, 2007. She was 80. Born in Woodstock, daughter of the late George and Lydia (Barnes) Reed. Isabelle and her husband Ronald owned and operated a confectionary, popcorn and food concession. She was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary to the Royal Canadian Legion. Survived by daughter Dana Rose and her husband Charles Wing of Nevada, granddaughter Teresa and her husband Michael Light of Tennessee, great-grandchildren Micheal Jr., Summer and Mitchell, great-great-granddaughters Leah, Rosa and Isabelle. Also survived by her brother Beverley and his wife Ivey Reed of England and several nephews. She will also be sadly missed by The Team and The 11th Avenue Crew. Predeceased by husband Ronald, brothers Stewart and David Reed. At Isabelle’s request there will be no funeral or visitation. Cremation has taken place. Interment in Hanover Cemetery, Hanover. Memorial donations to the Grey-Bruce Animal Shelter were appreciated as expressions of sympathy. Arrangements entrusted to Mighton Funeral Home, Hanover.
